Day 1: Arrive at Kibber – Take it Slow
Welcome to one of the highest villages in the world! Today is all about resting, soaking in the stunning views, and letting your body adjust to the altitude.
Stay: Homestay in Kibber.
Tip: Walk around the village or sip tea with locals—but don’t push yourself.
Day 2: Acclimatization Day – Get Your Legs Moving
Your body needs to prepare for the adventure ahead. We’ll go on a short acclimatization hike today—slow and steady, with breaks to breathe and enjoy the barren beauty of Spiti.
Stay: Homestay in Kibber.
Tip: Hydrate well throughout the day.
Day 3: Trek to Kanamo Base Camp
It’s time to lace up and hit the trail! We’ll leave Kibber and trek through rugged terrain to reach Base Camp. It’s a bit of a climb but the views and the peaceful campsite at 4,700m make it all worth it.
Trek Time: 5–6 hours.
Stay: Tent stay at Base Camp.
Note: Carry enough water—there are no refill spots along the way.
Day 4: Summit Kanamo Peak and Return to Kibber
Summit day! We start early, around 3 AM, to reach the top before the sun rises high. The climb is challenging—steep, rocky, and high-altitude—but the reward is unbeatable. After a moment at the summit, we make our way back down all the way to Kibber.
Trek Time: 10–12 hours.
Stay: Homestay in Kibber.
Highlight: Enjoy panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges of Spiti, Kinnaur, and Ladakh.
Day 5: Head Back with a Full Heart
After breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to the mountains. Whether you're heading to Kaza or beyond, you leave with memories, stories, and summit pride.
