Itinerary

Day 1: Manali to Dhundi (Drive) + Dhundi to Palchhani Thatch (Trek)                                                                   Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Manali to Dhundi, winding through pine forests and mountain roads. After a hearty breakfast in Manali, you'll be picked up and driven to the trailhead. From Dhundi, a short but invigorating trek leads you to the serene campsite at Palchhani Thatch, surrounded by alpine meadows and dramatic peaks. Arrive by early afternoon, enjoy a warm lunch, and soak in the mountain air.

Day 2: Palchhani Thatch to Lahani
Trek 4 km over 4–5 hours from Palchhani Thatch to Lahani (11,000 ft), gaining altitude gradually as you pass through highland meadows and rocky stretches. The views get more dramatic, and the terrain starts to feel truly Himalayan.

Day 3: Lahani to Beas Kund & Return
Today’s 6 km round trip takes you to the sacred Beas Kund (approx. 12,000 ft), the glacial lake believed to be Sage Vyas’s meditation site. Surrounded by peaks like Hanuman Tibba and Friendship Mountain, this is the spiritual and scenic high point of the trek.

Day 4: Lahani to Dhundi (Trek) + Dhundi to Manali (Drive)
Descend 4 km over 3–4 hours from Lahani to Dhundi (9,300 ft), then drive 14 km back to Manali, reaching by mid-afternoon. It’s the perfect wrap-up to a trek that blends myth, mountain beauty, and adventure.

  • Accommodation: Twin/Triple sharing (guest house and tents).
  • Meals: Lunch on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 4 (Vegetarian Meals with Egg)
  • Transportation: Manali to Manali.
  • Camping and Dining Equipment and cutlery. (Sleeping Bags, Tents, Sleeping Mats, Camping stools, Dinning tent, Toilet tent with commode chair)
  • Certified English Speaking Trek Lead.
  • Support staff (Guide, Cook, Helper and Mule staff)
  • Forest entry charges for Indian nationals. For non-Indian passport holders, there will be an additional charge.
  • Mules to carry common equipment.
  • Gaiters and Crampons: Included for your comfort and safety
  • First Aid: Comprehensive first aid kit for your well-being.

  • Personal expenses like tips, personal medicines, phone calls etc.
  • Any transport support during the trek apart from what is included above.
  • Any cost or services not mentioned in the inclusions.
  • Cost of sightseeing or river rafting.
  • Cost arising due to unforeseen incidents like bad weather, medical evacuation, road blocks, civil unrest, etc.
  • Porter/Mule charges to carry personal luggage. It can be arranged at an additional cost of INR 450 per day (1 soft bag per person < 12 kg).
