Most people wait for summer to visit the jungle. But those who truly love forests know that the monsoon reveals a completely different side of the wilderness.
The dry landscapes turn lush green. Streams come alive. Bird activity increases. Butterflies, amphibians, and countless smaller creatures emerge. Every trail tells a fresh story. And yes... wildlife sightings are still very much possible!
A monsoon safari in Tadoba is not just about spotting animals - it's about experiencing the jungle at its most vibrant, alive, and beautiful.
The Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve is rich in a wide variety of flora and fauna. Some of the famous and wildly seen flora of this park include Teak, Ain, Bija, Dhauda, Hald, Salai, Semal, Tendu, Beheda, Hirda, Karaya gum, Mahua Madhuca, Arjun, Bamboo, Bheria, Black Plum, and many others.
Apart from the flora, the list of animals spotted in Tadoba include Tigers, Leopards, Sloth Bears, Gaur, Nilgai, Dhole (Wild Dogs), Striped Hyena, Small Indian Civet, Jungle Cats, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Barking Deer, Chital, Marsh Crocodile, Indian Python, Indian Cobra, Grey-Headed Fish Eagle, Crested Serpent Eagle, Peacock, Jewel Beetles, Wolf Spiders, etc.
