The Ali Bedni Bugyal Trek is a popular trekking route located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India. This trek offers breathtaking views of lush green meadows, dense forests, snow-capped peaks, and pristine alpine lakes, making it a favorite among trekkers and nature enthusiasts. Bedni Bugyal is one of the largest alpine meadows in Asia. Bedni Bugyal is known for it's lush greenery and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks including Trishul and Nanda Ghunti. Ali Bugyal is another picturesque meadow located at a higher altitude than Bedni Bugyal, offering equally breathtaking views and serene surroundings.

Day 1 - Pune to Delhi to Dehradun.
- Reporting at Pune Airport. Board the flight to Delhi.
- Reach New Delhi Airport and proceed towards Dehradun by AC bus.
- Reach Dehradun by evening and check in at hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 - Dehradun – Mundoli (310 kms ) 9-10 hours drive
We start early morning from Dehradun via road towards Mundoli. Enroute, we encounter the holy confluence of rivers at Devaprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnaprayag. Mundoli is a village in Dewal Block in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand, India. We rest here at the guest house overnight.
Day 3 - Mundoli – Wan (10 kms drive) – Bedni Bugyal (3,350 mts. ) 11 kms
After breakfast, we start our drive early morning to Wan, located at an altitude of about 2,439 mtrs. and about 10 kms away from Mundoli. We start the trek from Wan & cover a trail of about 11 kms to Bedni Bugyal. Surrounded by lush greenery and countless species of Himalayan flora and fauna, this trail uncovers a small lake Vaitarani (Bedini Kund), situated amidst the meadow. On reaching Bedni Bugyal, enjoy dinner and a delightful camping experience.
Day 4 - Bedni Bugyal – Ali Bugyal (3,300 mtrs. ) – Bedni Bugyal 10 kms
After breakfast in the morning, we will trek Ali Bugyal. This trail entails lush green forest and occasional steep climbs through forests adorned with Rhododendron, Pine, Deodar, Spruce, and Oak trees. Fresh air and beautiful greens of this meadow offer some stunning views. We soak in the beauty of this place and head back towards our camp site at Bedni to enjoy the dinner under starry skies.
Day 5 - Bedni Bugyal – Wan 11 kms
We start the descend towards Wan after early morning breakfast. Wan is a quaint village which is also a basecamp for various treks in this region. It has a small market and some guest houses for trekkers. However, we camp under the starry skies before we bid goodbye to the pristine nature.
Day 6 - Wan - Mundoli - Dehradun (310 kms ) 9-10 hours drive
This is a day for a long drive, so we start early morning from Wan towards Dehradun crossing Mundoli . There are some interesting stopovers enroute to enjoy local cuisine and the drive offers some stunning landscapes and opportunities for some picture perfect moments. We reach our destination by late evening and conclude our trek to Bedni and Ali Bugyal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Dehradun.
Day 7 - Time to say good bye and cherish unforgettable memories of trek
- Departure for Delhi by AC bus from Dehradun.
- Reach Delhi by 01.00 pm. After that transfer to New Delhi Airport.
- Board the flight back to Pune with unforgettable memories of trek.
- Trek ends.
