Overview

Nestled along the northwestern edge of the Gangotri Valley, Mukta Top, Siyari Top, Dayara (Bakariya) Top, and Surya Top form a natural fence that overlooks two of Uttarakhand’s most expansive meadows—Dayara Bugyal and Gidara Bugyal.

This off-the-beaten-path route follows an ancient shepherds’ ridge line connecting these alpine prairies. Vast carpeted slopes, sweeping Himalayan panoramas, and utter tranquility await the few trekkers who venture here.
