Known for its lush greenery, dense forests, and a stunning waterfall hidden deep within the Sahyadri range, this trek is relatively easy, making it ideal for beginners and nature lovers looking for a refreshing escape into the wild. Located near Mahad, this picturesque waterfall is surrounded by dense greenery and rocky cliffs, making it a perfect monsoon destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

The water here cascades from a height of about 400 feet, creating a refreshing pool that invites visitors for a relaxing dip. The area is also known for its untouched beauty, making it perfect for photography and peaceful getaways.

Itinerary
  • Report at Hotel Kalpana near Saras Baug, Pune at 5:30 am sharp.
  • Leave for Nanemachi Waterfall at 6.00 am.
  • Have breakfast on the way & reach base village by 10 am. Short briefing from the Trek Leader/Local Guide.
  • Begin the trek through dense forest, narrow ridges, and stream crossings. (approximately one hour one way trek)
  • Reach at the majestic Nanemachi Waterfall at around 11.30 am.
  • Relax, explore, and possibly wade close to the falls. Enjoy refreshing dips and soaking in the lush monsoon vibes.
  • Visit to nearby Satsada Waterfall.
  • Return to base village by 2.30 pm. Freshen up and change clothes.
  • Have lunch at the base village.
  • Start return journey towards Pune at around 4.00 pm.
  • On the way, we will halt for tea and snacks.
  • We will be back to Pune approximately by 9.00 pm. (Depending on traffic conditions)
  • Trek ends.

  • Extra set of clothes, Sweater and Sandals / Flipflops (can be kept in bus)

  • Some snacks for the journey and trek.
