Naneghat, also known as Nanacha Angtha (Nana’s Thumb),is a mountain pass in the Western Ghats near Junnar in Pune district of Maharashtra. Literally, the name Nane means “coin” and Ghat means “pass”. The name Naneghat is given because this path was used as a tollbooth to collect toll from traders crossing the hills during the reign of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Day 1:
- Leave from Pune at 3:00 pm and reach Naneghat base village by 7 pm.
- Have dinner at 8 pm and enjoy stargazing activity at Naneghat.
- Overnight camping at Naneghat.
Day 2:
- Wake up at 6:00 am and enjoy morning tea.
- Visit Naneghat caves and come back to the base camp at 8.30 am.
- Have breakfast and leave for Pune.
- Back to Pune at around 12 noon.
- Trek ends.
