River & Roar: The Pench Frontier is an immersive jungle experience designed for those who want to explore the forest beyond the traditional tiger-centric safari. From riverside camping and guided jungle trails to naturalist-led wildlife interpretation and a Pench safari, this experience brings together trekking, nature, wildlife and outdoor exploration.
The journey takes you through the Pench buffer zone, with dedicated trails around Zandi Mata, the riverside forest and Teliya, complemented by an afternoon safari and the option to extend your experience with additional safaris.

Day 1 | 3 December: Arrival • Riverside Camp • Orientation.
11:00 AM – Pick-up from Nagpur Railway Station / Airport
Transfer by AC vehicle to Nalyer Camp near the Bavanthadi River.
1:30 PM – Check-in and settle into the eco-campsite.
Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring the riverside surroundings and nearby nature trails.
4:30 PM – Trek briefing and local trail walk.
The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 2 | 4th December 2026: Zandi Mata Jungle Trek
6:30 AM – Wake-up call
7:30 AM – Breakfast
9:00 AM – Begin the full-day Zandi Mata Jungle Trek
Explore an immersive buffer-zone trail on foot, accompanied by the trek team and local expertise.
Packed lunch enroute
4:00 PM – Return to campsite
6:00 PM – Wildlife interaction session with an expert naturalist
An opportunity to understand the forest beyond sightings—its habitats, wildlife, signs and ecological connections.
8:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight: Riverside Campsite
Day 3 | 5th December 2026: Riverside Jungle Trail • Pench Safari
6:30 AM – Wake-up call
7:30 AM – Breakfast
8:00 AM – Depart for the Riverside Jungle Trail
Explore the forest landscape along the river before returning to camp.
12:00 PM – Return to campsite and lunch
2:00 PM – Checkout and transfer towards Pench
3:00 PM – Afternoon Pench Jungle Safari
Experience the forest from a Gypsy and observe its diverse wildlife and landscapes.
7:00 PM – Check-in at the resort
8:00 PM – Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
Day 4 | 6th December 2026: Teliya Jungle Trail • Return Journey
6:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Begin the day with the Teliya Jungle Trail, an early morning exploration of the forest.
10:30 AM – Checkout and transfer to Nagpur Railway Station / Airport.

Continue your Pench experience with an evening Gypsy Safari in the Pench Buffer/Core Zone.
Overnight stay at the resort.

What is NOT included in the tour
- Travel to and from Nagpur – participants must reach Nagpur on their own

Mandatory

- Trekking shoes with good grip
- Comfortable outdoor clothing, preferably quick-dry
- Camouflage / earth-tone clothing – green, brown or dull colours
- 15–25 L daypack
- Water bottles with a minimum 2-litre capacity
- Energy food – energy bars, dry fruits, chocolates, ORS, etc.
- Personal medication, with prescription if required
- Insect repellent / mosquito cream
- Empty tiffin box for carrying packed lunch during the trek
- Torch / headlamp with spare batteries

- Cap / hat and sunglasses
- Poncho / rain or winter jacket, depending on weather
- Extra set of clothes for campsite use
- Lightweight towel and basic toiletries
- Eco-friendly toiletries
- Binoculars for wildlife and birdwatching
- Small personal first-aid kit
- Avoid bright colours such as red, yellow and white during jungle activities.
- Camouflage / earth-tone clothing should be worn during jungle treks and throughout camping.
- Avoid loud colours, perfumes and strong fragrances inside the jungle.
- Carry only essential items during the treks and keep your backpack light.
- Maintain silence while exploring the forest.
- Follow the instructions of trek leaders, naturalists and local guides at all times.
- Wildlife sightings are natural occurrences and cannot be guaranteed.
