
Sandakphu (11,930 feet) is the highest point in West Bengal, perched along the Singalila Ridge. By Air:
The nearest Airport is Bagdogra Airport, which is approximately 80 km from Mane Bhanjang. Bagdogra is the closest airport and is well-connected to major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Guwahati. From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a shared vehicle to reach Mane Bhanjang. The drive takes approximately 3-3.5 hours.
By Train:
The nearest major railway stations to reach Sandakphu are New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and Siliguri Junction. Both these stations are well-connected to all major cities in India. From NJP, you can hire a private cab or take a shared jeep to reach Mane Bhanjang. It takes around 3 hours to reach Mane Bhanjang.
By Road:
Mane Bhanjang is well-accessible by road from Siliguri, Darjeeling, and other nearby towns. The distance from Siliguri to Mane Bhanjang is approximately 3 hours and from Darjeeling to Mane Bhanjang is approximately 1.5 hours. There are shared jeeps and taxis available from Darjeeling and Siliguri to Mane Bhanjang.
