Overview

Uttarakhand is called as Dev Bhoomi i.e. land of Gods. Shri Kedarnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the eleventh out of twelve Jyotirlingas of India. The temple is situated in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand at high altitude in the Himalayas and is believed to be established by Aadi Guru Shankaracharya.

Itinerary

Day 1 – Delhi to Rishikesh

  • Reporting at Kashmiri Gate at 09.00 pm and proceed to Rishikesh by AC Bus. 
  • Overnight bus Journey.

Day 2 - Rishikesh to Sonprayag

  • Reach Rishikesh by 05.30 am and start the journey towards Sonprayag.
  • Drive Distance: 210 km | Drive Duration: 6-7 hours.
  • Overnight stay at Sonprayag.

Day 3 - Sonprayag to Kedarnath

  • After breakfast, start the trek towards Kedarnath.
  • Trek Distance: 16 km in 7-8 hours.
  • Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 4 - Kedarnath to Kund

  • After breakfast, start descending from Kedarnath.
  • Trek distance: 16 km in 8-10 hrs.
  • Reach Sonprayag and start the journey towards Kund. Drive distance: 220 km in 5-6 hours.
  • Overnight stay at Kund Hotel.

Day 5 - Kund to Rishikesh

  • After breakfast, drive from Kund to Rishikesh.
  • Drive Distance: 172 km | Drive Duration: 4-5 hours.
  • Overnight stay at Rishikesh in Hotel.

Day 6 - Rishikesh to Delhi

  • Full day exploration in Rishikesh.
  • Start overnight return journey towards Delhi and reach Delhi early morning on the next day. 
  • Proceed towards your respective cities by train or flight.

What is included in the tour

  • Transport support from Delhi to Rishikesh and return to Delhi. 
  • All meals provided are vegetarian. 
  • Meals include breakfast and dinner only. (Day 2 dinner to Day 5 breakfast )
  • Professional guide and support staff.
  • Forest entry charges for Indian nationals. For non-Indian passport holders, there will be an additional charge.
  • Accommodation from Day 2 to Day 5.
